Overview

Loiso AI is a web studio for South African e-commerce and retail brands. You upload product imagery (or build a catalog), then use AI to create model campaigns, marketing posters, logos, scene reshoots, upscaled images, and more. You can publish outputs to social channels and major storefronts from the same workspace.

This guide describes the logged-in app (the dashboard). Public marketing pages (e.g. AI Models, Store integrations) summarize features; once you sign up, everything below lives under Dashboard in the sidebar.

Account & workspace

Create an account via Get Started. After email verification (if enabled), open the dashboard. Your work is scoped to a workspace—products, images, brand kit, and generations belong to that workspace.

Team workspaces (Agency)

On eligible plans, you can use Team to create a team workspace and invite colleagues. Switching workspaces (via the workspace switcher when available) changes which catalog and assets you see. Invited users must accept invites using the same email address you invited.

Credits & billing

Most AI actions consume credits. You receive monthly free credits; paid plans add recurring credits, and you can top up without a subscription when you need more.

Typical credit costs (indicative)

  • AI model generation: 2 credits per run (see Generate flow for current wording)
  • Marketing poster: 3 credits
  • AI logo generation: 10 credits
  • Product reshoot: 1 credit
  • Image upscale: 1–4 credits depending on output resolution

Open Billing to choose a plan (e.g. Individual, Pro, Agency), manage subscription status, or buy a credit pack. Pricing is shown in ZAR. Checkout runs through the configured payment provider; after a successful payment, return to Billing to confirm your balance updated.

If something looks wrong after checkout, refresh Billing or use the support options in Help and Support.

Dashboard home

The Dashboard home summarizes recent activity: stats, recent AI generations, and recent social posts (when applicable). Use the quick actions to jump to Generate, Products, Posters, Reshoot, Logo Designer, or Social Media.

New users may see an onboarding prompt to set up Branding (business name, logo, colours). You can complete or dismiss it and finish branding later under Brand Kit.

Products

Products is your catalog. Each product can hold multiple images, a title, description, and metadata used when publishing to shops or feeds.

Add and edit products

  1. Go to ProductsAdd product (or open an existing product).
  2. Upload one or more product images. Supported flows may include drag-and-drop and gallery reordering.
  3. Fill in name, description, and any fields your shop integrations need. Many pages offer AI-assisted description: enter a short brief or keywords and generate a storefront-ready description, then edit as needed.
  4. Save. The product detail page shows galleries, publish status, and links to tools (reshoot, upscale, etc.).

Bulk and publishing

Where bulk actions exist, select multiple products to update or publish in one pass. Publishing to WooCommerce, Shopify, or Google Merchant is covered in those sections below—connections are usually configured once, then you push updates from each product or list view.

Image library

Image Library holds workspace images: uploads, AI outputs, and edits. Use it as a single place to find assets you have already created or imported.

From product galleries and related modals you can attach library images to products instead of re-uploading files. This keeps catalogs consistent when you reuse a hero shot across listings.

AI model generation

Generate creates lifestyle and campaign shots that show your product on AI models. You need at least one product image (from a catalog product or upload).

Quick vs Custom

  • Quick mode uses preset poses and styles for fast iterations—ideal when you want results in one or two clicks.
  • Custom mode exposes more controls: poses, model look, skin tone, wardrobe vibe, background, and similar options depending on the current UI.

Workflow

  1. Choose or upload a product and reference images as prompted.
  2. Select model attributes that match your audience (representation, style, scene).
  3. Configure any advanced options (aspect ratio, number of variations—if offered).
  4. Start generation and wait for the job to finish. Progress is shown in the generation UI.
  5. Review results in the Results area. Save favourites to your library or attach them back to products. Failed or partial runs may offer retry depending on error type.

Credits are deducted when a generation is accepted/submitted according to the current policy shown in the app. If the sidebar is in "zen" mode on this page, use the expand control to see full navigation.

Model photos

Model Photos lists your generated model campaigns so you can browse, compare, and open individual items for full-size review or further actions (e.g. share or publish, depending on integrations).

Product reshoot

Reshoot Product Photos places an existing product into a new scene—studio, lifestyle, outdoor, etc.—from a text description.

  1. Select or upload the product image to preserve shape and branding.
  2. Describe the environment, lighting, and mood you want.
  3. Generate and compare results. Use outputs in listings, ads, or as inputs to other tools.

This is distinct from full model generation: reshoot focuses on scene and placement, not on full model campaigns.

Image upscale

Enhance Image Quality increases resolution for print, marketplaces, or zoomed PDP galleries. Choose target size (e.g. 1K, 2K, 4K) where available—higher tiers may cost more credits.

Start from a product image or library asset, run upscale, then download or assign the result to a product.

Background remover

Under ToolsBackground Remover, upload an image to get a transparent PNG cutout. Use cutouts for compositing, marketplaces that require white or transparent backgrounds, or before dropping products into new scenes.

Marketing posters

Marketing Posters builds channel-ready creatives with your Brand Kit (colours, logo, business name) and optional products.

  1. Create a new poster and pick format presets when offered (e.g. social sizes, marketplace banners).
  2. Add products from your catalog so the poster pulls real imagery.
  3. Generate. Open the poster detail page to download or move to edit.
  4. Use edit / regenerate with prompts where available: describe changes in natural language (e.g. "more contrast", "swap headline text") and iterate.

AI logo designer

AI Logo Designer generates logos from your business name, tagline, colour preferences, and optional reference imagery.

  1. Enter brand text and constraints.
  2. Generate one or more concepts.
  3. Use edit/refine tools to adjust backgrounds, colours, or layout when offered.
  4. Save approved marks to My Logos for reuse on posters and branding.

Brand kit

Brand Kit stores your business name, logo, and palette. These values prefill poster creation, logo workflows, and other design surfaces so you do not re-enter them each time.

Update branding whenever you rebrand; existing drafts may keep older assets until you regenerate them.

Social media

Social Media connects Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other supported networks (as shown in the app). After you connect an account, you can publish generated images from your workspace to those profiles—use this to push model shots and posters without manual downloads.

Follow each platform's prompts to grant permissions; disconnect or reconnect from the same page if a connection expires.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce connects your WordPress/WooCommerce store. Enter the store URL and credentials where the app asks for them, test the connection, then publish or sync products from Loiso. Field mapping ensures titles, descriptions, images, and prices align with your store.

Large catalogs benefit from starting with a small batch to validate images and categories before full publish.

Shopify

Shopify connects through Shopify's standard connect flow. Connect your shop, approve permissions, then push products or media updates from Loiso. Resolve duplicate SKU or handle conflicts using the in-app messages—typically by editing the product name or handle in Loiso or Shopify.

Google Merchant Center

Google Merchant Center links your product data to Google Shopping surfaces. Complete merchant verification in Google as required, then map your catalog fields to feed attributes.

Use Merchant products (when available) to review item status, diagnose disapprovals, and resync after fixing titles, images, or GTIN issues in your source products.

Landing pages

Landing Pages lets you build hosted marketing pages tied to your brand. Create a page from a prompt (AI-assisted layout) or edit sections manually—hero, product grids, testimonials, CTAs, and more depending on the builder.

  1. Start from New landing page, describe what you need, or duplicate an existing structure.
  2. Upload logos and background images where the editor allows; assets may upload to your workspace storage.
  3. Wire products from your catalog into grids or featured blocks.
  4. Publish and share the public URL or custom domain once your domain is pointed to Loiso (your host or registrar’s DNS settings).

Preview on desktop and mobile before sharing externally.
